Real – Educational and Vocational Skills ... we want youngsters to
- Stay safe – with Health and Safety a key element of a workshop environment, all students attending the project will learn the basics of our Health and Safety Policy and receive ongoing training and support. At ALL times they will be required to wear the minimum of Personal Protective Equipment, safety boots, overalls, goggles etc
- Enjoy & Achieve – as well as gaining vocational qualifications, students have the opportunity to experience challenges that are fun as well as educational, teaching skills that will increase their employability and raise their self-esteem.
- Be Healthy – Each student will be invited to attend a physical training/team building activities. This will demonstrate how physical exercise can aid mental concentration, motivation and confidence.
- Make a positive contribution – this ‘hands on’ vocational training will help to educate the students in vehicle technology. They will interact and work as a team with other students and members of staff. This will help to deter them from anti-social activity, encouraging good citizenship.
